From its appearance, this bottle has a tall, upright body, slightly rounded shoulders, and a relatively short neck. These features indicate that it belongs to a common and practical type of bottle. Compared to ordinary white glass bottles, the most distinctive feature of this bottle is its exceptional clarity-especially at the base-a characteristic unique to "high-white" glass. It is particularly suitable for holding spirits such as vodka, whiskey, brandy, rum, and gin.
We are a company with many years of experience in the glass manufacturing industry. Today, we'd like to discuss the differences between high-white and ordinary white glass bottles, focusing on four main aspects. First, the material composition. High-white glass bottles have extremely low Fe₂O₃ (iron oxide) content, typically below 0.06%. Furthermore, the quartz sand used in its production is of extremely high purity, and almost no (or none at all) recycled glass is incorporated during the manufacturing process. In contrast, ordinary white glass bottles have a relatively high Fe₂O₃ content, typically between 0.1% and 0.3%; the purity of the quartz sand used is generally lower, and a large amount of recycled glass is usually added during the production process. Secondly, there's the appearance design. High-white glass bottles are crystal clear, with almost no noticeable greenish tint; their color is pure and bright, with excellent gloss. In contrast, ordinary white glass bottles often have a faint greenish tint at the edges; this type of glass lacks true pure white texture, and its gloss is only average. Thirdly, there's light transmittance. High-white glass bottles typically have a light transmittance exceeding 90%, while ordinary white glass bottles generally have a light transmittance between 70% and 89%. Fourthly, there are performance characteristics. High-white glass bottles typically possess superior impact resistance, capable of withstanding thermal shocks (temperature variations) of approximately 70 to 80 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, due to their higher surface smoothness, they often achieve superior results in packaging printing, frosting, and hot stamping processes. In contrast, standard flint glass bottles offer only moderate impact resistance-although they can withstand temperature variations up to 80°C-and are generally easier to process during the manufacturing process.
